Whilst these sorts of techniques are for very long cords and ropes - these can be applied to
HDMI cords, USB cords, etc ... and can tidy up your computer set up especially if you cords are a bit long and minimise the need for cable ties.

It's also a handy thing to understand when you're at the petrol station pumping up tires so you don't damage the hose so the next person can't use it!
